Mr & Mrs Smith live in Manly
I have just spent a lovely weekend in Sydney and as always I help the economy with some retail therapy.
My surprise find this trip was a great shop in Manly down a little side-street called Mr & Mrs Smith. I spent quite a bit of time looking through the great selection of clothes and home-wares trying on all manner of boots, jeans, jumpers and tops being a mixture of local, European and Chinese made. I ended up buying a beautiful burgundy pair of ‘Sempre Di’ boots (made in Italy) and a ‘By Malene Birger’ jumper (made in China) plus two pairs of cosy socks from Vanishing Elephant (made in PRC otherwise known as the People’s Republic of China). I could have spent more – but resisted. Thanks Charmian for your patience and great service.
Although a short trip, it was nice to catch up with my birth mum and dad, and niece who still can’t fathom where on earth my dress sense came from, particularly after seeing what has been fondly described as my Octopus tunic (thanks Cormac) that I bought in David Jones – photo to come.
Love those boots!
They are an amazing burgundy colour so will be a nice change from my usual black.
Love the Octopus tunic – its a work of art!
I agree my friend – looking forward to wearing it but not trying to keep it clean. It most certainly is a work of art.
Hot hot hot boots! 😉
Love the boots – thanks and can’t wait to wear them. A girl can never have too many boots I say.
