I spy a great Buy
Before my tan from Samoa completely fades, I went shopping in the weekend looking for a couple of tops that would look great with my shorts and slightly tanned legs. I thought I’d go into Glassons as the window display looked appealing with pretty patterns, pops of colour and spring styles tempting me in.
Glassons have done a great job in providing excellent reasonably priced seasonal clothes, and the selection seems to get better and better. I was surprised in the couple of tops that I tried on, that they had actually run out of my size in two of them. I couldn’t even get them at another store I visited the next day?
All under NZ $49.99 to me seemed good value for money. My personal favourites were the black lace top and the three-quarter sleeved Moroccan blue print. Both looked great with my shorts and would also look good with jeans. I decided the off-the-shoulder top wasn’t me or suited my style.
Unfortunately I did leave empty-handed – until next time!
I like the blue print top with the 3/4 sleeves. I didn’t like the off the shoulder top either! I like getting a few reasonably priced tops to complement the other items in my wardrobe – a good way to keep my look fresh without spending a fortune! Places like Target are good for that over here in Aus. 😊
Wish we had a Target store here in NZ. Great children’s clothes and sports gear. I am a little tempted to see if can find my size in the blur moroc top. As you mention good price point.
I really admire how you keep blogging so regularly despite how busy your life is. It is a real achievement. I think your blog has been going three years now? My favorite fun store here is the top shop boutique in Nordstrom. I’ve also developed a thing for Michael kors, as have decide my style statement is dramatic comfort. This means I combine my sequined camouflage tee shirt with sneakers!
I read recently about the top Fashion designers globally and they mentioned Michael Kors in the top7 along with Ralph Lauren, Burberry, Chanel, Calvin Klein etc. Must have been an American survey I thought? Always like to look in Nordstrom but prefer Macy’s as often can find a bargain.
I have posted 171 posts which is a pretty great achievement and looking forward to getting to 200.
I like all three Yellow Tulip and would definitely buy the lace one. Might have to drop into Glassons 🙂
Thanks for your comments – so far have resisted buying any but did help they didn’t have my size. Still quite tempted ….
Hi Yellow Tulip! Love the Morrocan Top and and the off the shoulder top, great spotting!
Thanks my friend – they had some nice shorts as well which would look great with the tops. Definitely worth having a look sometime.
WOW gorgeous finds! We’re crushing on the Moroccan print top, but they all looked super cute on you (with the shorts and sexy tanned legs). Have a fantastic weekend!
XOXO Nensi & Natasha
Thanks girls – I’m thinking seriously about getting the top (if I can find my size in it). Enjoy your day.
Gosh this is catchy! I’m going to look at the Moroccan top too. Love that print/colour.
Let me know if you end up trying it on as I still haven’t been able to find my size. This spring weather it would be perfect. Have a lovely day.
Wow! Love all of those looks especially the first one.
Thanks – I liked them all too. That’s the great about shopping – not buying but admiring the clothes sometimes. Happy Day. xx
Thanks – have been good so far and resisted going back to buy anything. How long this may last – who knows!
