How Many is too Many?

"Stylebook" apps

Net-A-Porter Apps looks great

I have just counted how many fashion apps I have downloaded on my iPad, and have decided I have way too many.  Have I used any of them on a regular basis, No.  But I guess, that isn’t the point. It is knowing I can have all the information I want, on any of my favourite topics, at my fingertips.

So what am I doing recommending some fashion apps to you?  Well, I thought you might be interested if by chance you haven’t downloaded any yet.  Marie Claire (Australian Magazine of the Year – April 2012 issue) talked about a couple of fashion apps which may appeal.  Stylebook (is a wardrobe organiser – so all you need to do is upload pictures of your clothes and accessories and the app will do the rest);  Shopstyle (is on-line shopping from a broad range of retailers);  and Chicfeed (is on-trend photos from top fashion blogs).  If you have any personal favourites, or recommendations – please let me know.

My favourites at the moment are Net-A-Porter  and Vogue Stylist – both visually appealing and can keep me occupied for hours.

So, how many ‘apps’ does a girl or guy need?

I fell into the art of style quite by accident. There was no defining moment when I decided that I knew what I wanted to do. I want people to feel good about themselves. Many don’t know where to shop and/or how to wear fashion. It has never been solely about cost, but of finding quality at a reasonable price and being able to wear - to suit your own figure, style and fashion. Join me as we explore – What is Style?
