Home is Where My Heart is

My new house felt right the moment I walked into it.  It has an energy and warmth that has me sleeping like a baby from the moment my head touches the pillow.  I have been here for nearly 3 months now and can’t imagine living anywhere else.  The neighbours are friendly; so many great places to go running ; cafés and shops aren’t too far away and most importantly I feel safe.

It is still a ‘work in progress’ as currently still haven’t quite sorted the fact there are no wardrobes.  The plan is to create a ‘dressing room’ which currently is still full of boxes and two racks of clothes.  However the end result will be worth the wait.

I fell into the art of style quite by accident. There was no defining moment when I decided that I knew what I wanted to do. I want people to feel good about themselves. Many don’t know where to shop and/or how to wear fashion. It has never been solely about cost, but of finding quality at a reasonable price and being able to wear - to suit your own figure, style and fashion. Join me as we explore – What is Style? That house was a great find! I like that it still has some of the original features, whilst being adapted to modern life. I thought it felt “warm” when I visited – and that feeling had nothing to do with the heating being on! It’s a good house in a great location!

  2. Love my home and love the fact you also liked your visit. You were one of my first official visitors. I agree that it is great they have done an excellent job of keeping many of the original features as that is what gives it a sense of character. The location is perfect in every way, although the cafes are a little wasted on me. I understand there is a great milkshake place though. xx

  3. When do you start your renovations, or are you going to leave it as is

  4. how do I change my email address?
