Secret of Staying Young

The secret of staying young is to live honestly, eat slowly and lie about your age.” Lucille Ball.

Both Supermodel Linda Evangelista and Elle Macpherson are great examples of women who will surely never have to lie about their age.

I do lie about my age depending on how I am feeling when I wake up in the morning.  Today I am feeling 32.  How old are you feeling today?

I fell into the art of style quite by accident. There was no defining moment when I decided that I knew what I wanted to do. I want people to feel good about themselves. Many don’t know where to shop and/or how to wear fashion. It has never been solely about cost, but of finding quality at a reasonable price and being able to wear - to suit your own figure, style and fashion. Join me as we explore – What is Style? 1. Are you in Samoa yet?

    • Yes friend internet not great but have logged on briefly to post blog from Samoa. Finally saw some sun yesterday. Waves crashing on the beach and been doing some reading and relaxing.

  2. I believe in reverse psychology. I tell people how old I am to see their look of surprise. Mind you, I dress like a teenager and sit on the floor in meetings.

I’m fairly pragmatic about my age – it is what it is and I don’t really see the point in getting all stressy or depressed about it in the way some people do when they reach those milestones of 30 or 40. I’ve never lied about my age, but having said that, I don’t define myself by that number or let it get in my way. I am often told I look younger than my age – maybe that’s why I’m not bothered so much? Far better to just enjoy what we have while we have it! And speaking of enjoyment – sounds like you’re having a nice time in Samoa!

  4. … I’m 28, and have been for the last 9 years, hehe. Pssst don’t you dare tell on me.
    Fabulous post.

    XOXO Nensi

  5. I feel 28 too!
