Times of Change
Generally with a new year comes grandiose plans of setting resolutions to make this year, that much better than the last. I decided I would change my focus for 2019 to something more aligned with goal setting and about what I want to achieve over the next 12 months. A focus on my health & well-being, which starts with better work/life balance along with greater financial awareness seemed a good starting point for me.
At the start of a new year we can often keep reflecting on the past, rather than look forward to the future. So lets all live in the moment a little more; look forward to perhaps doing something we have never done before, as well as laugh lots and have fun. “Life is short, live it”.
So my last piece of advice to us all … when it comes to shopping at this time of year; and seeing that 4 letter word we can’t avoid.!! Don’t get sucked in by the hype of the SALE I always try to put this question to myself; if I wasn’t prepared to pay full-price for it, why am I buying it now and do I need it?” “A bargain ain’t a bargain unless it’s something you need!” But I hear you say it is never about the word ‘need’ but about the word ‘want’!!
I want you all to have a fantastic 2019.
