LIKE Pink? – Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Girls gather round for some snappy pink tips in honour of Breast Cancer Awareness Month this October and how you can donate to a good cause. Plus I have added in some colourful fashion facts and quotes to lighten the moment.
Any petrol heads out there? I love these pink valve caps for your tyres from Bridgestone ($2.00 each). I have ordered a set for my car and waiting for them to arrive any day now. A little bit of pink bling on the car is sure to make me GO faster and all proceeds go to NZBCF. For stockists check out www.nzbcf.org.nz.
There is a new moisturiser just for the breasts which costs $11.99 with $2.00 donated to the NZBCF from every cream sold. Imagine how special your breasts will feel with their own dedicated cream. For stockists check out www.nzbcf.org.nz.
FASHION TRIVIA
True or False: High Heels Save Sex Lives – Researchers have recently discovered that wearing high heels doesn’t make us any more prone to arthritic developments of the knee joints. Instead they actually supports stronger muscles, along with exercising the pelvic muscles that are directly related to those used when achieving orgasm? Yeah right!!
True or False: G String or Big Pants? G-strings/thongs look great under clothes, but terrible in the flesh. Dental floss or wedgie are just a few of the words used to describe the comfort factor of this underwear. They can be just as expensive as big pants – yet there is so little fabric? A VPL (visible panty line) doesn’t help any well dressed woman. Is there no alternative but to grin and wear it! Ouch.

My blog this week is fundamentally about making you all a little more aware about Breast Cancer Awareness Month and the delights of being a woman. So, for every ‘like’ of this week’s blog, Yellow Tulip will donate $1.00 to the New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation.
Hope you will all support such a great cause and Happy Liking.
Well done Helen – great cause to support. My mother and grandmother had breast cancer so is worthy of all the support it can get. Look forward to catching up next week.
Cheers
Margart
Thanks for my first LIKE and $1.00 donation just like that has been made from Yellow Tulip. A mum and grandmother affected by this – WOW so sorry to hear that. Will be nice to catch up next week for sure. Love and Hugs. xx
“LIKE”. A great and very worthy cause and one that I also support. I have a friend who has successfully battled breast cancer, but at the cost of ever being able to have children. Such a cruel disease but hopefully one day soon science will find a cure…
It is so sad to hear the stories of how this cancer affects so many. We need to be so grateful sometimes for what we have and how healthy many of us are. xx
A big like from me. I have the pink valve caps too and think they are pretty. Great idea for your donations going to such a great cause Helen. Cancer touches so many families and we all want to support as much as possible. I will give a plug here to Hand and Hand who have a fantastic beauty service for ladies with cancer – if anyone wants to treat someone with cancer to some pampering Nicola offers treatments for cancer patients as she is in remission herself.
A BIG Like for such a great cause! Well done Yellow Tulip. x
Thanks so much for recommending Nicola – sometimes many don’t know who or where to go when they need a bit of ‘beauty’ going through cancer. I am hoping my pink valve caps turn up sometime soon.
Thanks friend for your support and I know how much you love the colour PINK.
