Does my bum look BIG in this?
I hadn’t really considered my ‘bum’ (aka backside) as a part of my body that I have ever been concerned with, until during the weekend I decided to try on some dungarees’ style clothing. It was a mixture of ‘home on the ranch’ style denim complimented by jumpsuits/play-suits (whatever you would like to call them). Either way, the end look was something akin to a horror movie. I thought I looked better from the front angle than the back, but that isn’t saying much and photos don’t lie.
Not to leave anything to the imagination – the evidence you are about to see, confirms that there are some things that I don’t suit. I do believe these outfits would generally look better on someone with a chest slightly bigger than my A’s and possibly 20 years younger? I also must remember to wear appropriate knickers for trying on outfits that require my back-side being on show. Till next time.
I would be interested to know if anyone agrees or disagrees with my own self-analysis. Is this a good example of ‘What is Style’?
To me you look so slim Yellow Tulip! I quite like the Demin Glassons Play suit on you, looks fab!
I actually thought the outfits from Glasson’s weren’t so bad and they were the cheapest by about $150.00 so just proves that price isn’t everything. Thanks for your kind words as always. xx
I don’t think your bum looks big at all. I think it’s just that the style(s) don’t really suit your body shape. I find sometimes what my mind thinks will look good actually doesn’t in the flesh. I’m remembering the dim and distant days of the ’80’s when one time we were shopping and I tried on a knit burgundy ribbed top to go with a cute skirt and the top made me look so top heavy! It wasn’t so much that I over balanced from the top heaviness, it was more that we were rolling on the floor laughing our heads off! Do you remember that? I’ve never worn a ribbed top since! 😃
I also remember Donna wearing a boob-tube dress !! Gosh those special moments from the 80’s. I think it ever more funny when the kind Shop Assistant obviously sees something that we don’t and comments that it actually looks nice. REALLY – I don’t think so. The best thing is we could easily laugh at ourselves back then, and not take it too seriously. Happy Days. xx
You’ve got a killer bod and look amazing! We tend to be our own worst critics, so don’t over analyze and shake what your mamma gave ‘ya 😉
XOXO Nensi & Natasha
Often we don’t appreciate what we have and always want to change ourselves. However to age gracefully is all I ask. Thanks girls. xx
