Shopping Miles
Been in Melbourne for 5 days visiting family and for the Melbourne Fashion Festival. I have worked out I have roughly walked approximately 21 kilometres around the shopping streets which equates to about a half marathon . My pace at times was fast and focused. My travelling friends couldn’t keep up and were left having a wine/beer relaxing or at times required afternoon naps to re-energise their tired bodies. Not me.
My shopping ratio per kilometre was pretty dismal. 1 pair of boots, 1 pair of earrings, 1 small purse and a skirt and jacket was the sum total. Oh and a watch to replace my one that went missing in transit thanks to the courier company. Better luck next time.
stunning earrings! look forward to hearing about your trip
Love the earrings. Wore to one of the shows over there. NZ Fashion definitely better than Aussie in the fact we are more original in our styling. Hope to talk soon. xx
Isn’t it frustrating when you go somewhere with the expectation of finding lots of things you like (or need to specifically find something) and despite shops full of things, there is nothing much you want to buy? I like your new watch!
I always get disappointed going to Melbourne as think I will be stuck for choice in regards to fashion. As much as there is such an amazing selection to choose from, its more the price of things that puts me off. Still, nice to always window shop. Yes, I do like my watch too and found exactly the same watch in NZ for around $900, when I paid 400 AUS so that put a smile on my face. Happy shopping …
Love those earrings, gorgeous!
Yes, they are lovely – just need to find somewhere to wear them …
