A pop-up store by Karl Lagerfeld featuring mens and womenswear was launched on Tuesday night in Selfridges, London.  Displaying an olympics theme, there were short-cropped jackets; skinny pants and the tee shirts had imprinted medals on them.  With a colour palette predominantly black & white (Karl’ favourite colours I think, given how much he wears them) – there was just enough hint of a bit of ‘gold’ to give the range a slightly glamorous feel.

While in Selfridges I also popped into one of the Chanel Boutiques, and ended up talking with Shop Associate, Natasha.  Not only did she seem to enjoy her job immensely (who wouldn’t, working with such beautiful clothes and accessories) but she even ended up painting my nails in the new colour, “Sky Line” which has only recently been launched in London this month.

It is a perfect summer colour – a light silver blue.  Beautiful!
